Social Media Director – full-time; Woodlands Campus
Job Summary
Woodlands Church is looking to add a full-time Social Media Director to our team! This role will be responsible for creating a unified presence across all social media platforms that both grows Woodlands Church’s audience and deepens connections with current users.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and direct a comprehensive social media strategy to increase visibility and traffic on all media outlets
- Oversee and execute marketing campaigns on social media platforms for Woodlands Church and Kerry Shook Ministries
- Manage and direct social media for the church including goals, deliverables, and constructive feedback on content
- Grow the digital footprint through strategy and calculated projects
- Grow and equip volunteers for the social media team
- Develop, schedule and post updates, tweets, blog posts, etc.
- Coordinate with design and video departments on campaigns and events
- Establish optimization plans to track and analyze impact and growth of all media outlets
- Increase organization’s community awareness and visibility
- Share innovative improvements or ideas; identify new opportunities, technologies, and platforms
- Ensure Woodlands Church is presented in a positive way that fosters community across ministries and brands
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Social Media Director, Specialist or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Instagram, X, Tik Tok, YouTube, and other social media platforms
- Comprehensive understanding of social media analytics
- Experience in Adobe Creative programs such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Premiere, and/or Premiere Rush CC
- Experience in Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment
