Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:
We’re looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant that will provide support to the Life Groups department and be the liaison for ministry programs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage phone, email, web inquiries in a timely fashion; sharing the ministry vision, purpose, and goals
- Act as liaison for the ministry to other departments, campuses, and leaders
- Assist in creating and confirming timelines for classes and trainings
- Coordinate details and logistics for church-wide groups or special events
- Track ministry accounting and budgets, including deposits, expenses, purchase orders & check requests
- Manage and support group data in the church database; run and create reports
- Maintain & order supplies for events as needed
- Manage background checks for all life group hosts
- Support the switchboard team by taking rotational shifts to answer calls to the church’s main phone line
- Available on weekends/evenings for ministry events as needed
- Available during Christmas and Easter services as needed
- Manage team calendar, track schedules, coverage, and time off
- Assist with all other ministry areas as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ related work experience required
- High school degree required; additional formal training and education preferred
- High attention to detail; strong organization/administrative abilities
- Strong written and verbal skills
- High technical skill and aptitude (databases, Office products, web & social media savvy)
- Customer Service mindset
- People/relational team building skills
- Problem solving abilities; process mindset  Â
- Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to adapt and anticipate in a creatively flexible environment
