VBS IMPORTANT INFORMATION


DATES: July 22 – 25 (MONDAY – THURSDAY)
TIME: 9am – 12pm

LOCATION: Woodlands Church – Atascocita Campus (18111 W. Lake Houston Pkwy. Humble 77346)


GROUP ASSIGNMENTS:

Group assignments are available at wc.org/vbs24parentsreviewwca. To access your child’s group information, you will need to put in the emergency contact number you used during the registration process. If your emergency phone number is not working, it may have been entered incorrectly during the registration process. We can help you find your info if you email kids@wc.org.


CHANGE REQUESTS:

Change Requests can be submitted here. All other Change Requests can be accommodated in person on Monday morning (July 22nd) in the Main Lobby.


WHAT TO EXPECT DAY 1:
Check-in will begin at 8:15am. Please take a screenshot of your child’s group info to help expedite your check-in experience. Once you know your child’s group, you can go directly to their assigned area to check them in. If you have any questions, we will have plenty of volunteers and staff members available to assist you.

VBS is separated into 2 separate check-in areas:
Preschool (4 years – 5 years)
Main Auditorium (Kindergarten – 5th grade)

Preschool – 4 Years / 5 Years (Astros and Texans)
– If your child is on the Astros or Texans, you will drop off in the WC/Kids Preschool Area.

Main Auditorium – Kindergarten – 5th Grade (Wildcats, Eagles, Bulldogs)
– If your child is on the Wildcats, Eagles, or Bulldogs, you will drop off in the Main Auditorium.

EVERY CHILD WILL RECEIVE THE FOLLOWING AT CHECK-IN:
– A wristband with their team name on it (you will receive a check-out card with the group name and security tag # for pick-up) – PLEASE TAKE A PICTURE OF THIS CARD & KEEP THE WRISTBAND ON YOUR CHILD THE ENTIRE WEEK


WHAT TO BRING (Kindergarten – 5th Grade):
– VBS T-shirt (Please have your child wear this every day – your child will receive their T-shirt on Day 1)
– Small backpack / Drawstring Bag (please bring your a drawstring bag each day with a change of clothes and water bottle)
– Water bottle (we will have several water stations around the plaza to help keep your child hydrated)
– Swimsuit / Towel (please have your child come wearing their swimsuit every day to VBS for water inflatables – this ensures that they have the most time possible to play on the water inflatables)
– Change of clothes (optional – most swimsuits are able to dry off and there’s not a need for change of clothes, but if you want your child to change after water inflatables, please inform your child’s group leader)
– Sunscreen (please apply before dropping off – your child will be outside for no longer than 30 minutes for water inflatables)
– Snacks and Popsicles will be provided every day (if you have special dietary/allergy restrictions, please inform your child’s group leader at check-in)


WHAT TO BRING (Preschool):
– VBS T-shirt (Please have your child wear this every day – your child will receive their T-shirt on Day 1)
– Everything is provided for Preschool VBS (snacks, water, etc)
– Water day is only on THURSDAY! Please have your child wear their swimsuit that day and pack a change of clothes.
