We only get one chance to make a first impression. At Woodlands Church, we believe one of the best ways to impact people’s lives and grow as a follower of Christ at the same time is to serve others in practical ways. Serving on a the Welcome Team is also a great way to meet new people and build meaningful relationships with others on your team as well as those you serve each week.
What is the Welcome Team?
We are a team of volunteers who help create a welcoming and friendly environment on our campus where people can experience Christ rather than man’s creation of religion so they can grow strong in Christ and take the Christ experience to the world.

Greeter Team
Our Greeters personally welcome everyone that walks on to our campus with a warm greeting and making them feel accepted by making eye contact and offering whatever assistance is needed.

Our Ushers help welcome and assist everyone as they walk into the auditorium. They also assist with the offering and any other need that arises before, during and after each service.

Our Transit Team Members are on the front lines of the Welcome Team and they offer the first smile and wave to everyone that drives on to our property. They help create a fun and friendly environment while at the same time helping direct all incoming and exiting traffic.
